Mission & vision
Learn to meet someone where they are. Earn a credential anyone can verify.
Cogtraining teaches the people closest to cognitive change to meet it with skill and dignity — and gives them a credential anyone can verify in seconds.
Mission
Cogtraining gives family members and paid care teams structured education about cognitive change, supportive communication, safety boundaries, and routes to appropriate help. A verifiable record shows the learning completed and assessment standard met; it does not guarantee workplace performance or a care outcome.
Vision
A world in which families and care teams can access practical education before a crisis and know when a concern belongs with a qualified clinician or emergency service.
How we work
Care begins with meeting a person where they are — slowing down, simplifying, staying present. Every module starts from the person, never the deficit.
We separate training records from outcome claims. Public claims require evidence and clinical and legal review.
Foundations is free to anyone who needs it. Cost is never the barrier to recognizing that something is wrong.
We teach observable patterns and supportive responses without diagnosing a disease or promising an outcome.
Recognition is paired with clear boundaries and routes to appropriate professional or emergency help.
The credibility backbone
One learning spine runs through everything: a practical model of cognition, the patterns that show up under load, and the SEE · SLOW · SIMPLIFY response method — then deeper into pattern-based care: communication, behavior, daily life, and the ethics of the work. Assessment is recognition-and-response, not fact-recall: we test whether a learner can read a real situation and act well, because that is what the role demands.
Our research programme groups proposed measurements under three planning pillars. No proposed measurement becomes a public outcome claim until its wording, evidence, limits, and review status are approved in the claims register.
Caregiver and care-recipient wellbeing.
Workforce and cost-of-care impact.
Equal access and quality across populations.
What the mark signals
The Advanced Cognitive Care Credentialrecords that its holder completed the required learning activities and met the programme’s stated assessment standard for that version.
It is an educational credential, not a professional licence, clinical certification, employment recommendation, wage promise, or guarantee of a care outcome. Its signed record and current status can be checked at /verify with no phone calls and no paperwork.
The proof layer
CogProof is the evidence workspace for proposed measurements, collection status, methodology review, and evidence freshness. Internal pilot measurements are not public product claims unless they separately pass claims-register review.
Where this stands today. Credential status is checkable now. Proposed outcome measurements remain labelled as research or planning work. Subject-data collection stays disabled until the applicable privacy, consent, and ethics gates clear.
The trust anchor
We state our boundaries plainly: Cogtraining provides education and training. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, provide medical or crisis care, or issue a professional licence. Persistent or worsening concerns should be evaluated by a qualified clinician.
We disclose how the credential is earned, what it costs, and how any partner referrals or resource directory work. Sponsor relationships do not grant access to private support or safety disclosures.
We are building external accountability so the proof never rests on our word alone: standing up a medical and lived-experience advisory team to review the curriculum and assessment, and requiring independent review before any outcome claim is published. Meet the team →
Mission names who we serve and what we do. Vision names the world we’re building. Values say how we work — person-first, free at the door, pattern over label, proof over assertion. Standards say what the credential is built on. The credential promise says what holding the mark means. CogProof makes the evidence and governance status visible rather than relying on unsupported promises.
